Help figuring out ice pop from the 90s
so ... I'm sitting here in bed telling my dh how I have this intense craving for ices - but not just any ices. It's ices I used to get from the icecream truck as a kid, sometime in the early 90s. I remember it was cherry flavored (I think they had at least one other flavor) and it did not come on a stick. It came in a paper thing and you had to push it up from the bottom to eat it. It's NOT push pops and for some reason the name "Calypso" rings a bell but when I tried google, that wasn't it.
Anyone know what I'm talking about? It's driving me crazy!!

YESS!!!!!! I think this is it!!!!! Oh mannnn now I'm gonna start my google search to try and find it! If I do, I'll let you ladies now 
I had a milk allergy growing up so I was limited to just the ices when the truck came around .. but these were AWESOME!!! I hope if I find them they're as good as I remember!

hmmm  Now I'm not so sure that's it ....
I know I used to get it in a cherry flavor and those don't come in cherry. The closest to cherry is tropical fruit but that's multicolored. This was just solid red.
So.. I think the search continues.. and this is really starting to drive me batty!

The first thing I thought of were minute maid juice bars.. they used to have them in the school cafeteria and I looooved them.

They were like the shape of the callipo ones posted above! Like, started out skinny and flat on bottom and got thicker at the top. You had to push it up while eating it.
I remember the minute maid ones!!! These were different, but those were really good! I remember they gave those out at my sleepaway camp and they were so refreshing

They had ices that were in the same shape as the Clippo but shorter and fatter.....I am not sure the name though

Calippo totally came to mind. And I believe they had cherry flavor! I used to work at a concession stand at the pool and remember them selling a lot!

I know EXACTLY you are talking about!!! I tried googling it too, but couldn't find it either!!!!
They were Calypso...long and tube shaped...they were so good and now I want one!!
