although I have to admit - I wasn't a fan of their cakes with the cross on it. For DD's baptism we just did the sun and flowers design. Their fairy is scary!

I'm sorry to laugh, but this story is great. It is totally something my husband would do (and totally thinking it was appropriate and that he was doing the right thing). It is really sweet though, because he was trying to think "girly"

Too funny! I'm glad I handled the baptism cake, hate to think what DH would have picked. The boobs are hysterical on the fairy or whatever it is!
My Dad picked a winner for my sister's bridal shower, I think it is a guy thing.

My DH looked at it and I asked if he saw anything wrong with it as a Christening cake and he said that she has big boobs. He said he would not have picked that for a cake, that it should have at least had a cross, but he said at least your DH got the G-d bless part (which you told him )

Oh, the cross is there- she's wearing it, it's hidden in her cleavage.....
BTW- my husband is thrilled there are many other men who see how perfect this cake was for the occasion.

i made the same mistake by putting my DH in charge of my son's cake too.
when we got the cake it read:
cole bennett's cristenetts
(supposed to be cole bennett's christening) 
he noticed the error but didn't have the girl change it on the cake!!! 'cuz he said he was in a hurry to get to the restaurant!
