Every woman wants to be and achieve a classic beauty, and part of that, according to experts, is refining her classic look, by keeping a few classics (that never go out of style) in her closet.
1. Diamonds And Pearls: While gold, silver, pewter, and platinum may go in and out of style; diamonds and pearls have been gracing graceful gals for generations.
Both are synonymous with elegance and sophistication and can complete both casual and formal attire, and are suitable for fashionable females of all ages. Experts however do caution that when it comes to diamonds you may want to proceed with caution. Many may be retrieved in an “unscrupulous” manner and for certain situations, such as in business, they may seem a bit gaudy, overdone, and may not be as versatile as pearls.
2. Trendy Toppers:,/b> Hats have always been a favored accessory. From manly chapeaus such as the timeless Fedora, to pillbox hats, berets, and warm winter toques, or summer sun-protectors, they can be casual, classic, and often practical and fun.
3. Shady Cover-ups: Besides protecting us from the sun’s harmful rays, sunglasses are generally a bright idea as far as making them a familiar fashion accessory. And, experts notes that the can enhance our look as well as the look of almost any outfit or ensemble.
4. Middle Management: From sassy scarves to wonderful weaves and almost everything in between, belts are a necessary and timeless accessory. Besides keeping our pants up, they can add affect to an otherwise “missing something” ensemble. Just make sure your belt is not falling apart, IS passed through all your loops, and is not (as a general rule, though there are a few exceptions), NOT used to belt your shirt around your waist. Remember, if worn properly to complete and pull together you “look”, they are an investment that is not a waste of money.
5. Show Stopping Shoes: Planning on stepping out in style also means get a firm footing and investing a pair of heels. According to experts, heels are an essential and classic accessory to women of all ages. And they note, that the type of heal you choose depends (obviously on the styles of the times), what outfit you are wearing, how long you’ll be standing and LASTLY preference.
Remember, while comfort is key, keeping it in perspective is equally as important. Never wear six inch stilettos for walking around the mall, and refrain from wearing chunky, clunky heels to fancy, formal occasions, or, for the most part, with skirts or dresses. In fact, if you have to, opt for fashionable, fancy flats over “husky” heels. Save the “sturdier” heels for more casual events that call for a bit of shoe savvy but also comfort and support. And, reserve sneakers and flats for walking, running, or exercising.
