Sweet, cooling watermelon is another fabulous fruit for helping you maintain weight or to aid in weight loss. Watermelon is comprised of exactly that; 92% water. Grapefruit is one of the best morning starters that you can add to your plate. Although many individuals taking prescription medications need to be wary of drinking grapefruit juice; grapefruit itself is full of vitamin C and antioxidants which help to lower cholesterol and prevent the buildup of belly fat. The acidic properties of the grapefruit also help to break down the food you consume more quickly, helping prevent over-absorption.
