It’s no secret that we all want to look fabulous in our clothes, but we it’s also likely that most of us want to look even better out of them. And, summer leaves very little if anything to the imagination when it comes to shorts, bikinis an the such. However, although we all talk about getting our bodies “bikini ready”, most of us don’t event think about what we look like outside of bulky sweater until perhaps its too late. But according to fitness experts and gurus, planning ahead is key, as is commitment and sticking to a clean diet and a regimented exercise plan. In fact, in addition to daily cardio (which is also good for your heart), they suggest strength training three times a week with an emphasis on larger muscles and muscle groups such as legs, back, arms, and chest. Devote the rest of the week to interval training for burning the most fat. Consider biking, running or using the elliptical alternating intensity: 2 minutes “hard” training and 2 minutes “moderate” exercise. On the seventh day you can either give your body a rest or enjoy some outdoor activities such as swimming or hiking. Another alternative is unwinding on the seventh day with some yoga or Pilates.
