When I first met my husband, I had done extensive traveling (thanks to my road trip buddies and my line of work), my hubby, not so much. So when we went someplace, wanting him to get the full flavor of traveling, I wanted to stay at the finer facilities.
This time it wasn’t company cash that was paying for it, but ours, and luxury is costly, so we decided to stay as more affordable accommodations but pay a visit to these top-shelf hotels.
Now, it seems as if hoteliers are catering to all budgets by making accommodations for the frugal and savvy traveler.
Thanks to the development of a variety of new hotel chains, travelers can enjoy high-tech amenities and cutting-edge style, and all without the high cost of “convenience”
While each hotel offers its own unique approach to “affluence’, they all make major strides toward lodging suitable for today’s more mobile, tech-talented traveler. Including options such as Starbucks-like lobbies replete with Wi-Fi to guest rooms featuring personal-media plug-ins, these “haute” hotels encourage guests to bring their lifestyle with them, even on the road. The only “setback”, it’s costing you the valet parking and spa facilities.
