OMG, this is a great thread. You guys did a awesome job. I love the one where the wall is two-toned...like a goldish on top and red on the bottom. Very pretty. We are in the process of buying our first home and it needs some work so I'm loving this !!

Here is a link to my before - during - after pics.
We still need to tile the kitchen backsplash, and start on the bathroom remodel! And oh yeah, then the whole OUTSIDE of the house.
We did everthing ourselves except the stoop and the silestone countertop.
I also stole someone's color/idea combination from LIW for the master bedroom - forget who it was, but I love it.

Thanks. I love the way it's done. I might suggest something like that to DH. We plan on changing the wall color and adding a chair rail in our dining room sometime next spring.

Thats exactly what we are doing now...except the bottom of the wall is going to beige....the top of the wall will be a deep red.

Here is some of ours, I forgot to take before pics before we started ripping the house apart. So there are some partial befores. The hallway used to be a dark paneling.
