You are in my prayers! Our triple screen came back abnormal for Downs and we opted to do an amnio which showed that everything is fine with our baby so know that "false positives" do happen!!

Just so you know....
My brother has Down's and is really high functioning -- no heart issues, etc... He lives independantly and our family is so blessed because he is in it. If you baby does have Down's, it's not the end of the world 
What a beautiful reminders of how special every life is no matter what the outcome.

I am really sorry that you are having to face something like this. I hope it all works out. I can imagine how hard this decision was for you and your dh I work with children in a hospital and I see alot of kids with DS and I have to say that they are the most adorable and loving children I have ever met. I really think that you are brave and I hope that all turns out OK for you. I too went through IF...I had 7 rounds of IVF (2 m/c) over the last 4 years so I know how tough it can be when you want something so badly...I pray that you have a very healthy baby...
