please send prayers for Sophia ***Friday 10/10 UPDATE***
She has had such a great run but now she is battling. She is back on CPAP and seems to have some kind of infection. They are thinking that she has an infection in her intestines. As of now we think we caught it in time and we have to wait it out and pray the antibiotics work. It is still early and we are not sure what is happening just yet but she is getting another blood transfusion and is on anitbiotics and is resting Please pray for her speedy recovery I will keep you all updated as we know more thanks
well so far they think that the infection is NEC which is common with preemies but we are hopefull that we caught it ealy enough there is nothing funky growing in her culture which is great but there is still an infection and she is having a hard time remembering to take deep breaths her xray this afternoon looked much better there is alot of gas in her little tummy that needs to come out so far so good her coloring looks much better and she is much more active and fighting with the nurses when they mess with her we are hoping that she will be back to her old self in a few days 
OK so the docs have just about ruled out NEC they dont think that is where the infection is coming from which is great but she still has a bug from somewhere she is now Intubated and on very low settings on the vent her lungs are not working very well right now and she had a case of pneumonia so we are watching that...hopefully all will be well in a few days the poor baby lost 3 IV's today and needed them to be replaced for her meds another blood transfusion...so my poor baby girl is very sick but the docs say that she seems to have hit rock bottom and is fighting the infection and is on her way back up so thanks for those prayers and keep them coming...
