For those of you that had/are having a Bris

Where did you have it? Did you try and get some things planned before the baby arrived or did you do everything after?

WE are planning on having a bris. I have done all the research and stuff that you can do beforehand but basically it depends when the baby is born.... If the baby is born during the week than the bris will be during the week and you will probably have less people. If the Bris ends up on a weekend you will have alot more. I would plan on an A list and B list.

We will be hopefully having it at a temple around the corner from my house. Reason is we will have alot of people and we thought it would be easier all around. Of course I wanted in the house at first but I think it is for the best.

I called temples around the area to see what they charge. Once we decided where, we have to use one their approved mohels and caterers..Lucky for me Bagel Boss is one. i went into Bagel Boss and I spoke with then already. I went through the approved mohel list and found out which ones people have used. When the baby is born we will call.

I have everything written down. When it is time, the person who will be calling knows what to do. I am certainly not going to have time to worry about this...
