Need to make Ornament - HELP

I have to make a Christmas Ornament for a competition with my family! No idea what the judges will vote on but was looking for ideas.

So far I came up with making a snowglobe orn. I figured it would be pretty and different then a ball with some glitter or something!

Any other ideas?

If you go to a scrapbooking store (or even Michael's might have them) they have cardboard ornaments - they're just plain cardboard cut out like an ornament. You can trace the shape onto colored paper, cut it out and glue the paper to the ornament, then stamp with rubber stamps, print your family's name on it, put glitter on it, etc. You can also put the thick embossing powder on it and heat it so it'll have a glassy look to it.
And also tie a pretty ribbon to the top so you can hang it

You can do rub ons, stickers, the small garland and stick that inside the ornament.

Gallery Glass makes some cool things to do ornaments

Paint pens work well too on the glass ornaments
