I'm back, Saga Continues...Lap scheduled tomorrow morning for my Ectopic Pregnancy
I have a scheduled lap for tomorrow to remove my tubal pregnancy. I had two shots of Metorexhate and my HCG levels were lowering but not fast enough. Right now the level was at 295 but the size of it physically is 3cm and is considered large.
I never had any pain until this past Saturday night and last night I called the emergency #. This morning they did blood work and sono and all the doctors got together and agreed that I should have the surgery to remove it. Their fear is that it will burst and it is already secreating blood which is causing my pain.
It's so upsetting. We all tried to avoid this kind of surgery. I risk them removing my left tube. I hope they don't. I feel like every little step forward ends up being one giant leap backward.
For anyone new I had my first IVF in October, got PG in November, mid Nov they determined my PG was Ectopic. Was being treated ever since then.
Remember my getaway ladies? Well I booked a Bahamas trip for this Wed. I cancelled everything just now.
After this surgery the Dr. said to take it easy give my self time I could even try on my own for about three months before I go back and do my frozen transfer. I just need a break from everyone.

I know you don't want to think about this right now, but to maybe help you through this terrible time...my friend got PG with IUI and it was ectopic she had exactly the same experience as you. Ended up in ER and had to have a tube removed. She was devastated only to find out exactly four weeks later that she was PG naturally. She now has a healthy baby girl.

Thank for the huggys. Its just so draining. I'm okay. Just taking it easy on the couch. I'm going to turn in around 8pm and get some sleep. Only had 4 hours of it last night. I was at NSUH from 8am to 4:30pm today doing all this stuff to prep for tomorrow.

I am sorry that you are going through so much right now.
Hope you have a speedy recovery-
I just had the lapro this past Friday and if you get those gas pains that go through your chest and up your shoulders, try to walk around the house. The walking helps the gassy pain subside.

I am so sorry you are going thru this. I just had an ectopic from my last IUI, and it stinks. Fortunately for me the methortreaxate worked. But it is very draining emotionally.
