Ideas for a play room?
We have a seperate room in the basement that we use for storage right now but most the stuff is garbage. We want to clean it out, and re-do the room and turn it into a play room.
Any pictures or ideas??

Re: Ideas for a play room?
No pics but alot of my friends have set up rooms like that. They usually have a tv/vcr and a cabinet to hold all the movies/dvds
There is usually a little table and chairs. Sometimes an easel or drawing desk. One of the little boys is totally into cars so he has that rug that looks like roads. All of the toys are in cute colorful storage bins around the room. They also have little bean bags to watch the tv.

Re: Ideas for a play room?
GREAT ideas!! Thanks so much!!!
We already have that car rug! and the little tables and chairs and I am going to take the tv out of his room and put it in there.
Those are such good ideas. Plus he has a small bedroom so this is all stuff I have wanted to do but havent had the space for!

Re: Ideas for a play room?
I don't have pics, but two of my girlfriends have painted one wall with that blackboard paint so they could use chalk and one of them then painted another wall with that metal paint behind the color so they could use magnets (letters, etc) on it. One girl used the same color on the other 3 walls, and one let her kids pick a color and painted the 3 other walls their color. They get to hang their little arts and crafts projects on their wall, kinda like a little family gallery.

Cute ideas..... I put Jordans art on the wall in a few of these frames - it's easy to change every so often...
