I will get a one pimple once in a while but I do not pop it. IMO, I think it is the worst thing to do. I will put a pimple healer solution on it and it will go away without leaving marks.

I have an extraction tool (similar to the one they use in the Dr's office)...and I am quite addicted to it 
If you must pop a pimple, the tool is the best way to go - according to the Dr's I've seen. It's cleaner - no oils/dirt from your fingers - and less invasive (though there have been many times where my "surgery" has gotten bloody  )

if it's white - yes...if it's not - i put a solution that dries it out and do not touch it.
I let my facialist do all the "professional popping."
