Have reclusive couple Claire Danes and Billy Crudup split? That might explain why the "My So-Called Life" star was in tears at Spring Street Natural, as we reported two weeks ago. Apparently things between the two actors took a turn for the worse when Danes mentioned marriage. Getting out when things get serious seems to be a Crudup habit. Back in 2003, he ditched seven-months-pregnant girlfriend Mary-Louise Parker to pursue Danes.

Ever wanted to know what a Derek Jeter lip-lock is like? Let his ex, Vanessa Minnillo explain. In "Kiss & Tell," custom-published by Macy's, the MTV veejay dishes on her best pre-Nick Lachey kiss. Okay, so Minnillo doesn't openly admit it's the shortstop who made her swoon, but all signs point to the baseball star. The quote was collected back when they were an item in early '06. Other girls dishing about their best smooches include Jessica Alba, Fergie, Tara Reid and Nicky Hilton, who hosts the book party at Loft 11 Feb. 1.
