THE DRAMA CONTINUES...

2nd Rider came back today stating if in the event after contract that an issue becomes of the deck, fence, shed or stairs that the seller will pay half the cost to remove it. (no cap)

My commitment is from a lender who I've spoke to many times (and even some LIW brides here used them and agree) that we will be able to close with a survey enoorsement and CO of the house only.
Without regard to the above items.

After contract, there is no out for us. We would have to take on each situation as it comes - whatever that may be and deal with it.

Guys, you know I've looked for many months and saw plenty of houses and this is THE house is the area I wanted.

It seems a little rough right now, but if you really wanted a house would you remove whatever it was (ie: a shed) these things can born torn down for cheap.

I feel so frustrated through all of this - and these people are so annoying...

I know to rebuild whatever needs to be taken down is expensive...but that doesn't effect us being in the actual house. We can replace a fence over time etc.

How do you feel about this? Any last minute advice? It seems we have no out - we wouldn't get our 10% back - but would have to fix that which is acting as the problem with the deal. The lender swears and will give a written statement that these things will not be an issue upon closing.

I would go for it but make the sellers pay the entire cost for removing something if it has to be removed. I don't see why it is your responsibility to pay for half of that.

You should not be responsible for paying for those items to be torn down. What's the big deal about getting some COs? It seems like they are yanking your chain and that is unfair to you.
