Nick tells Jess she will regret the way she is acting

Could Nick Lachey be taking a swipe at Jess' now-public hook-up with John Mayer? He once again wagged his finger at his ex Jessica Simpson, saying he took "the high road" in his divorce and added that he made "the most of the situation." The singer told People, "You have to ... always take the high road. You never want to look back and regret the way you acted." Lachey was accepting Cosmopolitan magazine's "Fun, Fearless Male of the Year" Award on Monday. Nick has been cavorting with professional eye candy Vanessa Minnillo while Jess has been Mayer's no. 1 groupie in recent days, joining him on his tour bus.

OK, if he is referring to Jessica then he needs to shut his mouth. I like him, and am still very upset by the split, but he shouldn't comment on her actions - he's been very civil up to this point and he should continue to be. She's young and hurt just like he was. What - is Vanessa so much classier or better than Mayer? Come on.

He didnt necessarily have to be referring to Jessica. I think he was just explaining how he thinks he handled the divorce. These magazines just like to make what everyone says more than it really is.

I think it's a HUGE stretch to think he was referring to her "relationship" with Mayer ... the media are such instigators

I read the interview in Cosmo. this is of course, taken snipets and making it more that what it is...

he was referring to himself. no one else.

How is that saying she'll regret how she's acting. I think they were both pretty tight-lipped about their divorce. And I think what he said was fine, not snippy at all.
