Yucky Chicken Question

Do you eve get that yucky, chewy piece in chicken? My poor DH is the one that often does, but I don't really see anything when I am cooking it...what is is and how do you avoid it?

Re: Yucky Chicken Question

Because I gag when that happens to me, I usually chop up my chicken into small pieces to get rid of all the veiny, fatty parts...I can't stand getting that in my mouth...sometimes even just cutting it out of the chicken makes me gag.

Re: Yucky Chicken Question

I feel like I lose money when I buy chicken breast bc I end up cutting up and throwing out anything that looks remotely nasty. But when I get them nice and clean, I pound them and it breaks everything up. Or I started buying the Perdue perfect portions - I can count on them to be nice & clean.

Re: Yucky Chicken Question

I started buying the perfect portions too, and that eliminates all the nastiness!

I get so grossed out by cleaning chicken.
