Turkey Apple Burgers - Delicious Now with cookbook name
So I got a new Low-fat cookbook for xmas. I made this recipe and DH & I absolutely love it.
Lean Ground Turkey 1lb
Large Egg, fork beaten 1
Finely crushed saltines 1 cup
Finely chopped onion 2 tbsp
Small garlic glove, crushed 1
Red apple, with peel, finely diced 1
salt 3/4tsp
pepper 1/2tsp
Combine all 9 ingredients in a large bowl. Form into 6 patties. Broil 4 inches from the heat for 10 minutes per side or grill over medium heat on BBQ. I made them on the George Foreman Grill for 12 minutes at 325.
1 Burger =
174 calories, 19g Protein, 4g total fat, 552mg Sodium, 1g dietary fiber

i made these last night!
We loved them!
I actually used 1.35lb of turkey and made 7 burgers.
YUMMY
Dh said he is not a big fan of the onion so next time i will put less and substitute with parm cheese..
yum!

I have to get the exact name of the book. They have a series of 6 books specializing in different things. My mom got it at Walmart. I would recommend it though!!!
