Anyone have any info on the Long Island Consortium Recruitment Fair?
I know that it's on March 23rd - does anyone have any info on how to register, location, etc?
I tried to google it but didn't find anything related.

Not a clue - don't know hours, attendees, registration - nothing! The only thing I do know is that there is a particular out of state district coming which is why I'd like to go.

oh okay. Well, I sent an email to the person at post hoping to get more information. If any districts from the northeast or even n carolina are there, i will probably wind up attending.

so they list the school going to be there accepting resumes and/or interviewing. But some schools are not listing all their openings (for me I have seen PE advertised, but it's not listed there), so do you think they are just doing random listsings for the more common vacanies?

I am not sure. Maybe schools haven't confirmed yet. I am not going to school. Theres gonna be a million people there and what are the chances of being hired?

OK - I called the Career Center at Hofstra today, which is where I got my Master's and they told me you need to send resumes in to your career office for the specific districts you're interested in and that you would be invited to the fair if that district wants to interview you - not an open fair.
