Has anyone ever "tested out" the trigger shot?
Hello,
I just had my first IUI on Friday and Saturday of last week and did the trigger on Thursday night (one week ago). (My first cycle had to be cancelled, due to too many follies, and now this time I only had one). Anyway, I remember reading a post that you can "test out" the trigger shot. Once you get a negative, then you know if you get a positive after that, that it is a real positive and not the trigger shot.
Has anyone done this? So far, the dollar tree tests are still showing a faint positive.

I've never done it, but the HCG lasts about a week in your system so by Saturday you should be okay. I usually just wait until AF shows or I go to the RE for a beta. I can't stand the torture of HPT's.

yes--I did prego tests until it was out and then it was neg..then 2 days after a positive.

WOW! You girls had it in your system for no time! Mine usually lasted about 8 or 9 days!

Well, I took another dollar tree test today and it was still ever so slightly positive (8 days past trigger shot), so it must be almost gone.
