It's hard to tell. Usually you won't even get a coverline until a few days after you O. The coverline comes from higher temps, which follow Ovulation, it's due to higher progesterone in your body. If your temps stay high or keep climbing, it's a good sign of pg. If they start to drop after about ten days, you are probably not pg.
Sending lot's of Baby Dust your way!!!!!!!!

Re: Does this mean anything?
Thanks ladies -- my cycle is only 24 days so tbaf is due to show up this Friday. I never get any pms symptoms or anything so it's always a surprise when she pops in....I've been gassy so I am hoping that the temps staying elevated and the gas are good signs???
BD to us all....!

Kara can you post your chart? Temps that are elevated after O are a great sign, I can show you my chart of you want.

Try this
My chart sometimes doesnt show because its not in JPEG format. I save mine into my pictures...then I usually open with Paint ( on Windows) and open it with that and save it as JPEG image. Then I upload it to my Photo album here and then copy the properties and insert in the post.
It actually sounds alot more difficult then it is - let me know if you have any questions.

Kara, try just posting the link to your chart (Im assuming you are using Fertility Friend?) you go to FF and select "email chart" and the link that is in the email is a direct link to the chart - paste hat here.
This last month I was pretty lax with charting which is not like me, Im usually religious about it! I'll post last cycles and this cycles. If you have any questions let me know.
The longer chart is this cycle's chart - Ive been temping to make sure my temps are staying up (Ive been pretty nervous)Image Attachment(s):

Re: Does this mean anything?
Hm so the temps staying up until the NEXT cycle begins is normal I take it...then a big dip when AF rears her ugly head? I was hoping the temps staying up might indicate a possible....dare I say it....bfp...
PS my chart is embarassing -- we are too tired at night to BD nearly as much as we should, and DH gets up at 6am all the time...and I haven't been keeping track of the cm either.... I think it gets harder as you get older just because bding gets more exhausting!! lol!!

Yeah - it seems that our temps stay in the 98.0 and up range after Oing and then drop when AF is making her freakin appearance. They will continue to rise and level off when pregnant.
- Do not feel embarrassed about your chart! If you ever look at my charts - you will see me and DH only BD around the middle of the month and that is usually it (if we are even lucky to do it then! ).

Re: Does this mean anything?
Post O your temps will rise. They will usualy peak around the middle of your LP. If your temps start to drop towards the end of your LP, that usually means that AF is coming. If you are PG, your temps will usually go up post O and stay up. But your temps post O dont HAVE to be in the low 98's....every person varies and as long as your temp is above your coverline, that is what matters.
My first few charts were is mess..but you will get the hang of it. If you want to check out examples of PG charts, non PG charts and a whole lot of other variations...check out www.ovusoft.com and go to "community" and then "Chart galleries" - you dont have to b a member to view them.

Just curious as to why? Are the temps all over the place and it makes you question your pregnancy????

Re: Does this mean anything?
Yes....once you are pregnant your temps can fluctuate...usually they remain constant, but they may not always and it can drive yourself crazy. Also unfortunately, elevated temps don't mean much once your hcg is pretty high and a decent amount of progesterone is in your system.
I think being newly pregnant is such a nervous time. Having no idea what's going on in your body can make you very anxious. Temping, hpts, should all be thrown out...best thing to do is get those ultra sounds. They are the only indication in early pregnancy of everything going well.
