Animal Print Shoes
How does everyone feel about animal print shoes? I showed DH a pair of leopard print pumps that I was going to buy and he told me they were hideous and looked "trashy"  Now, not that DH knows anything about fashion  but I am curious for other people's opinions.
I always thought that it depended on the actual shoe and what the shoe was being worn with.

I just got a pair with pointy toes
they are cute, I wouldn't spend a ton on them
I like them with simple outfits- all black, solid top with jeans
I think they are fun
and my DH said he liked them- I haven't worn them yet- and I got them on sale- so I figured it was very little investment in a trend!

i agree.
there are many different versions of the print, too. i like the one you posted...kind of like the faded look... i don't like the ones that are very orangey and look fake.

I definitely agree with wearing the shoes with a simple outfit and nothing to orangey looking. I really wanted a "fun" pair of shoes and I was so mad when DH made fun of them!!!!

I have a similar pair but with a pointy toe. I love wearing them with all black or with winter white pants or jeans and a black top. I think they're a fun accessory and definitely not trashy (when done right).

I like those shoes a lot! You won't wear them everyday, but they're really fun. And, I agree with the other posters, keep the outfit simple.

I like the animal prints. As long as it's simple. I even showed DH a pair that I liked, and he had no complaints.
Granted, I've seen some pairs that look hooker-ish (can I even say that on here??), but the pair that you showed are not like that at all, they're cute!
And if they're not expensive, then go for it!

I LOVE them, I want to get a pair of flats with a print like that.
I think animal prints are cool as long as you don't go head-to-toe in them. But as an accessory like shoes - totally!

Aldo had some cute animal print flats! I tried a few pairs on but they were too wide for me

I just bought a pair of red leopard print ballet flats. I love them with jeans and a plain top.

ex
print shoes with jeans
overboard is a no no
my fh think they are hideous. but he doesnt like or care about fashion at all.

I have a pair that I  LOVE that I wore to all my holiday functions this year with an all black outfit.... I got a lot of compliments on them... I also wore them to the LIW 06 GTG at Fox Hollow....
