How long does passport take?

We are going to the post office on sat. How long does it usually take to get the passport. Ive never had one before... need it by June.

right now since the regulations have changed is taking up to 10 weeks to get.

if you are traveling soon, I suggest you pay an extra fee to have it expedited it, it should take 3 to 4 weeks.

I went this pass Sat to have my name changed
I had to pay 127 for name change with faster processing
They guy told me 5 weeks for an expedited one and that it is taking up to 12 for normal because they are backed up with the new laws

Im going to Ireland in 8 weeks so I had to expedite it so they would let me in!! lol

We ordered ours on Jan 11 and got them March 3rd. But I know that they are taking a LOT longer now because of all the new regulations. I would pay for the expedited for the peace of mind. We got ours less then a week before we were leaving

We ordered ours in Mid-January and just got them last week (we are going away this weekend)...so I would think at least 8 solid weeks. They did say on their phone mssg that they hired extra people and are all working overtime to get all of the passport requests out!
