Coming home outfit
I'm due October 9th, and hoping that I dont' even go that long being that the baby is SO big according to my weekly sonos. I'm hoping to get some answer about inducing or something at my appt this week on thursday, when I'll be nearly 39 weeks.
Anyway, I'm wondering what exactly I should have ready to bring the baby home in figuring that it'll be born the first week in october.
I already have packed an outfit with a long sleeve onesie, pants, socks, hat, no-scratch mittens, and side snap t-shirt.
I have recieving blankets packed.
Will I need a sweater or my bundleme yet? Or will just the outfit and a recieving blanket be fine? Or maybe a heavier blanket??
I always feel hot probably because of the pregnancy so I want to make sure the baby isn't cold!!

Re: Coming home outfit
What you have sounds great. I would bring a heavier blanket JIC its colder than normal out.

Re: Coming home outfit
It sounds like you have just about everything!!... You may want to get a bunting style infant carrier cover, in case it is chilly..
I found that EXTREMELY helpful and useful for the cold winter days and nights.. I would stretch it over the carrier while we we went outside, and when we got into the warm car, you could take it off, so the baby wouldn't overheat.. I bought a Eddie Bauer one, it was the best $20 I spent!!

Re: Coming home outfit
I would bring a heavier blanket. My son was born the end of October, it was typical October weather that year and I had something similar to you plus a blanket. I dont think you need the Bundle Me.
May I mention that I agree with the person who posted right before me that the cover that goes over the carrier is really really nice. I had that one with my son and the bought a Bundle Me with my daughter b/c I heard how nice they are - but I think the one that stretches over the infant car seat was much better. Mine was a Nojo cover and was about $20 too. I put blankets over my son, that thing over the carseat and a hat on his head and it was great for all winter.
