Is it really possible to lose 6lbs in 8 days??

DD is 4 mths old and I still look pregnant so I decided to lose this weight and the scale says I lost 6lbs in 8 days Is this really possible?

Yes. I always lose a few pounds the first week.

In 1 week....you probably lost water weight & maybe some fat.
Remember:
3,500 calories = 1lb of fat
So you need to create a deficite (through exercise or diet)

Keep it up though, with a good diet and a consistent exercise program you will lose weight and feel great!!!!!

Yes - usually half is water weight, but that's ok. Your body holds on to fluid when we are eating too much. Getting rid of that fluid is the beginning phase to any weight loss diet.
