anyone ever been to hawaii?
i am going on the may 18th and i was just wondering if anyone has ever been there and could reccomend must sees and things to do TIA!

I went for my Honeymoon last year. I went to Oahu, Maui and Kaui. I can recommend things to do. What island are you going to?

Oahu also has Hanama Bay
In Maui we biked down Haleakala, drove the road to Hana and went to Lahaina for some little shops

On Oahu make sure you see Pearl Harbor and he USS Missouri Battleship. So interesting and well done.
Also, I would definiely walk along Waikiki beach. There is an open air market on the street along Waikiki beach. We got the best deals there.
****'s resaurant in the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach was great. They had an awesome breakfast buffet and great dinner as well.

On Maui I would do the Old Lahaina Luau - its a lot of fun and right on the beach - gorgeous!

We did these as well as a whale watch on a catamaran & submarine ride. The Royal Lahaina Luau was excellent! If you go to Oahu you need to see Pearl Harbor, it's haunting....

oahu
we went to diamond head, pearl harbor (but get there super early we thought 10am was early we had a 4 hour wait!)
take a catamaran ride
go to waikiki beach
we rented a car and drove around the whole island and went to alll the surf spots
we swam in waimea bay (no waves) but sooooo pretty
Maui
we drove up haleakala to see the sunrise
go to Kimo's to eat in Lahiana (sp?) they have nice seating outside!
check out front street
we didnt do the road to hana but i hear it was nice
Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!
ETA: Dukes in Waikiki had delish breakfast!!!!!!!! we stayed at that hotel and it was included in our stay...omg sooooooo good!

Oahu: We spent 2 nights here.
Pearl Harbor
Shopping
Maui: We spent 7 nights here.
Road to Hana---beautiful views...takes all day. Get the CD...it's like a tour guide and it helps you find stuff along the way.
Haleakala Sunrise and bike downhill---we really liked this a lot. We used Maui Downhill.
Snorkeling---we went snorkeling off Lanai...saw a lot of dolphins and 3 whales...but we went during the whale mating season. (January)
Lahaina---shopping and restaurants.

We went to Oahu... Def. walk in Waikiki beach, eat at Duke's Canoe Club, it's right on the beach and has incredible food, Hike up Diamond head.. the view is breathtaking, the Northshore is beautiful and lot of surfing, go to a luau... we went to the one at the Pink Palace( the oldest hotel in Oahu).. it was incredible..., we did a rainforest tour, that was nice too and got to see some amazing waterfalls :)

The Road to hana was beautiful!!!! We did a hike in the rainforest then we went to the Garden of Eden, I think that's what it's called. We had the best time and got some of the best pictures! Image Attachment(s):

Oahu - Diamond Head is supposed to be great. We didn't have time to go there and I kinda regert that. And go to Pearl Harbor.
Maui - Drive the Road to Hana. Bike down Mt Haleakala. Walk around Lahaina (they have little stores and restaurants among these cool banyan trees).
