Spinoff on kittens....

If anyone has any stray cats roaming around, please get them fixed asap.
You can rent a trap from your local shelter and get them fixed.

If you need help finding a low cost or free place, fm me.

If you need help trapping, fm me too.

You don't want kittens running around.

Please don't move. Ty.

Re: Spinoff on kittens....

I got a trap for free once from a local Rescue place.

Then, they sent me to a Vet who fixed the cat and gave me a big discount on the charge for fixing.

Thanks for posting-- please, anyone who has strays in your neighborhood-- it was very easy and quite inexpensive just to get them fixed...

and in the long-run it avoids what happens when kittens show up and then it's just more aggrivation, work and money...

Yes. you can rent a trap and get your deposit back when you return it.

Great job for fixing the cat. A simple snip can stop a lot of future aggravation.

My mother took in a cat that came to the door every night. She then realizes this cat was pregnantChat Icon
My mother took them all to be fixed along with "Mommy" cat.
I have one of the kittens, who now looks exactly like your avatar Reggie and my mother kept "mommy" cat along with one other. She gave the other two away to very nice and caring families.

yes, and he has become a great little "friend" to our yard. we bought an igloo for him (we tried to take him IN but he is wild and doesn't want to come in- just wants to be fed lol)... But, he keeps all the mice out of the yard, sleeps in his igloo, gets fed in the am and pm-- and he's very happy-- he almost never even leaves our yard anymore. i remember when we first trapped him to take him to be fixed- he was so scared! but too cute-- we have had blackie now for like 7 years or so! Re: Spinoff on kittens....

my mom took in her kitty from our backyard...The mommy and brother were hit by cars and he was left alllll alone

it was so heartwrenching. He slept on the porch crying for days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now he is a strictly indoor kitty and well taken care of

Re: Spinoff on kittens....

We did this a few years ago when kittens were born under our shed. We caught 3/5 kittens and brought them to a local cat rescue. We found out later they went to great homes and two even stayed together. We eventually at different times caught the father, and a female although we aren't sure if that was the mother, brought them to get fixed for FREE through this organization and re-released them. (The female was actually pregnant when we brought her in but they took care of that and fixed her as well.) I still see them around from time to time but there will be no more kittens! There are still some strays hanging around but a lot less.
