NY&Co. sizes

Anyone know how their sizes run in pants? Or, even in shirts/tops? I am looking to order online. I usually have to try stuff on, but the sale is so good online!

Re: NY&Co. sizes

pants are a little full...i usually wear a 10, and i can get away with an 8 in NY&Co. I always wear a medium in the stretchy pants.

I find the shirts to be true to size.

Re: NY&Co. sizes

For me I always have to get one size bigger than normal in the work / dressy pants..

For jeans I get my normal size.

I find their pants to run big (I usually wear a 4 or 6 but can wear a 2 or 4 from them) - same with their skirts.....their shirts seems true to size!

I like them because the clothes seem tof it me well, for my larger size. I think they are cut well, so that may be interpretted as running big.

The tops are fine, but I find they tend to be short! After one washing, I feel as if I am wearing a belly-baring shirt.

Me too, I also find that sometimes two of the exact same things aren't always the exact same size (same at Old Navy too).

Re: NY&Co. sizes

I definitely find that they run big.....this has become one of my most favorite stores because their sales are awesome. Supposedly they are having a good in store sale as well, just to let you know Chat Icon Any ways, I usually wear about a size 6 pants and their I could fit into a four and I am usually a medium when it comes to tops and I have to get a size small. Your best bet may be to go to the store and try on a pair of pants before you actually order online. Good luck and happy shopping!!! Chat Icon

Re: NY&Co. sizes

I find that they run big in the waist, but not in the thigh.

I always have to get the larger size to fit my larger thighs... but I always have a huge gap around my waist.

Re: NY&Co. sizes

I agree that their shirts run big. I normally need a medium in shirts, but there I wear an extra-small Chat Icon Gotta love a store that makes you feel skinny, LOL.

BINGO!

the pants are made for more "apple" than hourglass figures, so take that into consideration.

same in tops, if you have a small back but moderate to large bust, you could get a small (I am a 34D, and wear either a small or medium.)
