My friend always makes them at work and they come out great. When I make them at home (the same exact way!), they come out rubbery and gross.Chat Icon

That's what I'm worried about! I literally get a little nauseous even thinking about making egg whites in the microwave. I'm not a fan of egg whites as it is (or egg beaters). But I thought I"d give it a try. I just don't know how long to cook them for (I buy them in a container).

I usually put them in one of the really small pyrex side dishes. I throw it in the mirco for about 1 minute and put it on an english muffin with some salt, pepper, maybe a slice of ham or cheese.

Good idea for the pyrex!! I always bust out the frying pan in the AM...then am annoyed when i come home to cook dinner at having to wash it & the spatula!! I am SO trying this tomorrow!!

My favorite stay full till the early afternoon type of breakfast is 1 egg on a lite whole grain english muffin, with ham & cheese (all organic too because besides trying to watch my weight I have added the stress of attemting to make healthier food choices in that area too!!!!Chat Icon )

I usually cook them the night before in the pan (sometimes a few days worth) and reheat the fully cooked egg whites in the morning when I get to work.

Oooh, that's a good idea - so they come out nice and round!
