I just had to share this ridiculous issue we had at 7pm today at the office.

Woman calls KC (those are her initials), for her son HS who is also a member of our program. KC says that her son had a customer call the call center and wanted to book a hotel. An agent told the customer to call the hotel directly. (Which we would never do) I told KC we need to speak to the customer directly and if the customer calls the hotel and uses our ARC/IATA number we will persue civil and legal matters and she will be defrauding the company because she is not an authorized member of the program and is not a travel agent. Well the customer called the hotel and told the hotel she was an agent which she isnt.

So KC who is about 70 was calling for her son to figure out what the problem was. I advised her their are no notes and the customer needs to call us. So KC calls the CEO and tells the CEO that we have idiots that work for the company and that if the customer gets into trouble because of fraud she'll come after us because of misleading the customer.

and we allow these people to vote??

I get all the nuts.

I even got a guy accuse the company of breaking the discrimination law by not providing a sign language interpretar at one of the training events.

And the blind guy who I was advising to go to his back office, look for agent resources and he'll find all the information there. He told me he cant, i said sure you can, in your back office. Thats when he said no i cant, i am blind.
