Appetizers for Christening
I am definetely going to put out a veggie platter, but I want to try some different dips and appetizers than the usual chips and dip and pretzels. Anyone have any good recipes?

Re: Appetizers for Christening
For my husband's 40th birthday, I went to Costco and bought alot of stuff there. They have the huge veggie platter w/dip.
I also bought their shrimp platter, removed it from their platter and put it on my own.
I bought their peach mango salsa, put it in a pyrex plate with cream cheese on the bottom, the salsa then cheese on top....served with chips.
They also have the parmesan pita chips (delicious) and served with spinach dip.
I have a great recipe for bacon wrapped water chestnuts.
Tomato & mozzarella with fresh basil is always good.
I ordered chicken wings from a local deli - these are always a hit.
My friend makes crackers, cheese and puts a grape on top (really good).

Re: Appetizers for Christening
For the hot spinach and artichoke dip, do you use the McCormicks spinach dip mix??? There is a recipe on the back for the hot dip and wondering if it is good.
