Virgin Gorda?

Any good/bad experiences there?

I love it there! We were on a cruise and when we stopped in tortola we took the ferry over to virgin gorda. I thought it was just beautiful and would have loved to stay at a resort there.

we went there for our honeymoon and we LOVED it!!! we stayed at the bitter end yacht club... its not the facniest resort there, but it was perfect for us! laid back, all inclusive with water sports, etc.... everyday we would take out one of the resort little motor boats and go to another little island nearby and had the beach to ourselves and just hung out and snorkeled. there were also guided snorkeling trips 2 times a day, too. also, we could see richard branson's private island from the resort- pretty cool!
the neat thing about virgin gorda is that its not built up or really touristy- its just a great place to hang out and RELAX for a week
but the whole not built up thing could be a downside, too.... theres really not much night life, shopping etc... so if you're looking for any of that, its probably not the place for you

We sailed in the BVI for a week and then stayed in Virgin Gorda for a week...we stayed at the Mango Bay Resort and loved it...it was a wonderful vacation...we rented a jeep and toured the island and relaxed on the beach all week! We are planning to go back in the next year or so and will definintely stay in the same resort...
