1st grade lesson

I am looking for a really good 1st grade ELA lesson-TIA!!!!!! It has to be like 30 minutes in length :)

I've done comparing and contrasting. I start by describing what comparing and contrasting really mean (comparing is how they are alike and contrasting is how they are different.) We then compare apples and oranges and use real apples and oranges. Then I'll read two books such as There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly with TWAOLWS a Pie. The class will do a Venn Diagram on the two stories.
