we got a closing date

Yeahhh - our closing date is set for a week from today.


Question -
Who do I have to start calling? I set up accounts for LIPA and Keyspan online. I sent out the fowarding address with the post office. Will be changing the address with CC company and Bank. What else can you think of that I have to do. thanks!

CONGRATS!!! Here are some things we did:

Contact cablevision or who ever you want to have TV/internet service with. Contact the water authority, look in to who you want your oil to be delivered from (for hot water, heat) humm... if you have any magazine or newspaper subscriptions, change the address on that (they will not be forwarded to your new address even when you change your address). Also you can go to www.usps.com and get the change of address forms for you and DH. Change all credit cards, cell phone bills etc to reflect your new address. Get the forms from DMV either online or at DMV to change your address on your license. Change your address on any and all insurance documents. You'll have to change your address and all medical benefits with your jobs too. Change all bank accounts to reflect new address and get new checks. Dont forget to contact a phone company for phone service.

I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot but thats off the top of my head.
