NYC Hotel Reccomendations

Sadly, DH and I had to cancel our 1 yr. anniversary trip to Cape Cod due to some work things for me. Chat Icon So we're going to stay in the city overnight on our anniversary and then do a longer trip towards the winter. Any suggestions for NYC hotels?

Depends how much you want to spend...

We love the Mandarin Oriental at Columbus Circle...the rooms are huge (we had our own fireplace) and the views are great...the hotel also has one of the best places to eat...Per Se...which was delicious....

if you're looking for luxury... i loved the waldorf. the marriot in times square is great if you want to do the touristy bit and go to a play, etc. the marriot has a nice lounge upstairs as well, just beware of tourists Chat Icon

I love the Shelbourne Murray hotel. The beds are amazing there. They have a great roof top bar too. It is in Murray hill!

Haha. I used to handle the public relations for that hotel. It's undergoing renovations right now. Those are called 'Affinia Beds.' If you go to www.affinia.com, you can click on affinia at home and buy the bed if youwant.
