Need a gym in Farmingdale

Hello Everyone,

DH and I just made an offer on a home in Farmingdale, and the offer was accepted!!!!

Now I need to find a new gym. The house is right near the Bethpage State Park. Can anyone recommend one?

I think a gym called Fitness 2000 is about 1 mile from the house. Anyone know anything about that gym?

I used to go to ballys in copiague when I lived in Fdale.

I would try synergy on Main St and Conklin. There is also a Powerhouse on Smith Street (off 110) that I used to go to and it was never that crowded.

The LA fitness is always crowded, and when FH went there, his car was broken into at 3PM in the afternoon (window smashed, radio stolen) and FH did nothign for him, he wanted to be let out of his memership and they wouldnt let him, even after admitting they have safety issues with the parking lot.

eta: my grandma goes to Golds on 110 and likes it.

I go to LA Fitness in Farmingdale. I love it although I didn't know there were safety issues in the parking lot...

Thanks everyone. I checked out the Synergy on Conklin Street. It's pretty nice, and close enough to allow me to ride my bike tothe gym.
