Our Cape May Trip...
We just got back from Cape May and loved it!! Here is a brief review:
We stayed at a bed and breakfast called the Carroll Villa Hotel. It was located right in the center of town and a 2 minute walk to the beach and everything else. The positives: they give you $60 worth of breakfast vouchers. Rooms were very clean. Everything is centrally located. Great restaurant called the Mad Batter. We only had breakfast there, but it was excellent. Negatives: the hotel parking is about a 10 minute walk away..the side street parking is meter only and only 3 hours.
We ate at the following restaurants:
Henry's on the Beach: great place to go if you want to eat on the beach. It's very casual and food was pretty good. I got crab cakes and dh got a seafood platter.
Cabana's: is also a very casual restaurant. I got a salad with grilled pineapples, chicken, and sweet dressing (forget the name). Dh got steamers and shrimp. The only negative is that the shrimp were peel and eat and was not indicated on the menu. Dh was a little annoyed...
There were a few things that we wanted to do, but didn't have a chance to do them like... horse and carriage ride (we were supposed to do this last night, but ended up going to AC for a Soprano's event) whale/dolphin watching on a boat, but actually saw dolphins from the beach light house (climb up 200 stairs to get to the top)..we got lazy and just vegged out on the beach alllllllllllll day..lol..
Here are some pics:

Re: Our Cape May Trip...
I've never been to Cape May. It looks so quaint, and I've heard great things from friends who went.
Looks like you and Dh had a great time!

Thanks girls!! Congress hall was soooo nice, but pricey. I think we priced it out prior to going and it's approx. $300 - $350 a night to stay there..
