Vegas Review with pics

If I forget anything let me know... I wrote this very long and detailed review and then it disappeared-

Paris Hotel:

GORGEOUS! Perfect location! Easy check in and check out. What a beautiful hotel! Clean Hotel room, no view- although they said they move of us the next day if we wanted but we didn't bother since we were barely in the room- King bed- bathroom with a walk in shower that fits two and a separate bathtub, large counterspace

Breakfast'lunch at Le Cafe in Paris- Good food- good service- Keno while you wait- about $50.00 for two...

Mon Ami Gabi- we had dinner there! I highly recommend it! It was about $90.00 for two people and we had two drinks- I suggest getting the Paris Romance Drink-SO GOOD! We had escargot for appetizer and for dinner I had Steak bordelaise-carmalized onions in a red burgandy sauce- EXCELLENT- Dh had a NY strip steak with another sauce-and onions- VERY good too! You can eat inside or out. Make reservations.

Lunch Buffet at the WYNN- I HIGHLY recommend it! Classy food-different types rather than the typical "buffet" food- the 6 different ceviches were fabulous! their desserts- WOW! so many stations- About 52. 00 for two

MIX at Mandalay Bay- we ate there on our anniversary. Very $$$$ but so worth it! The views alone were incredible! The food to die for and dessert was exquisite! Service was phenominal- so well-informed...the place inside and out was beautiful! We had crispy lobster over a fluffy white "something" for appetizer-for dinner I had Bison-my first time- it was excellent and DH had stripped sea bass with artichokes- OMG it was delicious. There were food critics sitting nearby and we heard them saying how wonderful everything was... It really it an experience in itself!

Brunch at Bellagio- After the Wynn nothing would compare- but it was good- much more typical- Dh was not feeling well that morning- this might have influenced it- spring rolls were FROZEN when I took a bite- Spicy tuna rolls made in front of you- this was good- But very typical...

Shows
Go to Tickets 4 Tonight- there are 4 booths on the strip- you can get discounted tickets to most shows for that night- Some of the larger shows like "O" would not be there- but other Cirque shows were and MANY other shows were...

We got tickets to
Magician Hans Klok starring Pamela Anderson-at Planet Hollywood Hotel-this was exciting...
Crazy Girls- at Riviera-a burlesque show- not sleazy at all- lots of couples-a fun time
and Blue Man Group-we didnt LOVE it- but it was good- it was fun-we enjoyed it, but after seeing "O" we really would have preferred to see something else like it- we tried to get Zumanity tickets but they were Dark that night.

we saw "O" as well- bought out tickets on ticketmaster before we got there- great seats and the most brilliant show! We loved it! We were in awe from start to finish! The stage alone was amazing- I can't wait to see another Cirque show!

We went on the Gondola Ride Inside-at Venetian! It was sweet-
Gondoliers singing to us-onlookers-a wedding right in front of us!

Ate crepes at Le Creperie at the Paris hotel! GET ONE... or TWO! It was awesome! about 9.00 for a crepe- big enough to share!

we love Ceasars and would stay there next time we go! Their poolS are beautiful! (See above)

One issue in our hotel- the first day they did not clean our room for some reason- we complained and we were given a $50.00 food and beverage credit and they sent someone up right away. It never happened again!

We won at Casino Royale. We loved it there- low minimums, no high rollers to feel embarrassed with, fun 80s rock music, very chill cool place, plus we won...we also won a little at Bellagio, but lost it all at Paris and Monte Carlo. OH well...We had fun!
Casino Royale also has $1.00 margaritas and michelob!

We accidently ate at this rinky dink place at Riviera- we were going to see CRazy girls, but didnt realize how far away it was even by monorail- so we ran out of time, we had to eat quick and went to Kady's Coffee Shop- not really a coffee shop though- I had crab legs which were good, but DH decided to have Beef stew as an appetizer and steak for dinner and I swear that's why he didn't feel good the next morning.

We also ate lunch at Todai- a seafood and sushi buffet at the MIracle Mile shopes- We walked around- it looked good and it was crowded, so we decided to go- it was okay- but nothing to write home about- I would skip it

We had dinner at Pampas- we got a discount here with some sort of ticket thing at Tickets 4 tonight- we like brazilian steakhouses so we tried it. GOOD food, not so good service. nice atmosphere, good price, good selection... I would go again after I tried all the other places I want to eat at.


Pool at Paris- large octagon overlooking the Eiffel Tower replica. It was so hot we couldn't stay long but it was nice- $$$ bar though- $25.00 for a bottled water and a margarita. PLUS tip... Waitress were everywhere and you never needed anything-there was a DJ and they had some contests too-

Weather- it was HOT HOT HOT! We love the heat but it was VERY HOT- the last day we started taking cabs some places because it was just too hot. It did NOT ruin our fun, but just make sure you drink a lot of water! There was a place-2 waters for $.97...near the Hawaiian Marketplace- also that's where one of the tickets 4 tonight booths was

We took the monorail once but it dropped us off at the Hilton and we still had to walk what seemed like forever to the Riviera-we decided to walk the strip home instead...

There is a free monorail that goes back and forth from Mandalay bay to Excalibur-and Luxor.
