Dog bed recommendations...

Max loves the round foam padded nesting bed with the removable washable cover, however, in like two weeks after I get the new bed it starts to smell like his feet Now, he is not a stinky dog at all...in fact he smells like flowers but Im so tired of the bed constantly stinking...I change it and wash it ever week and its a pain! He doesn't want to sleep in it a few days after I change the cover...its the foam that absorbs the smell so quickly...

What kind of dog bed do you have or would recommend for him? He is a 75 lbs Boxer so he needs firm base.

Maybe one of the cedar-filled beds? They help to keep the skinkiness at bay.

We got Oscar a Perla Plastic Bed---it's got a plastic basket part and a cushion that goes in it. Everything stays clean and the cover of the cushion zips off for washing. The plastic will probably last longer than the cushion but we can put a different pillow in later if needed. Oscar gets a blanket thrown on top, too! They come in all sizes and a few colors.
