What do you do when walking your dog but there is no "sidewalk" or sidewalk grass?
I was wondering, what do you do when you walk your dog in an area that has no sidewalks?

We live in a neighborhood like this. Luckily our neighborhood doesn't have heavy traffic, but I always keep him away from the traffic by keeping him to my left. And I never let him onto other people's lawn.

We usually walk rudy in the street especially in the summer because we are worried about fertilizer getting in his paws.

So funny, same exact thing happened to us. Dottie will try to sniff on the lawn, but then I give her a little tug and she goes on the street no problem.

My ILs live on a street like this, and don't allow their dogs on the grass of anyone's property. They walk them in the street and they've learned to do their business there as well.

we live in a neighborhood with no sidewalks....thankfully there is no traffic on the street, so our dogs don't mind walking in the street...we try to keep them off peoples lawn and always bring a baggie just in case they need to go.

Either that or there are a few small side lots on some corners.
I wouldn't want other dogs peeing on my lawn so I'm pretty sure others wouldn't appreciate my dog peeing on their's.
