Qustions and please help me Sory long

OK first was anyone on the depo shot. I was on it for say about 6 months the last shot for me was in jan and it was out of my system in march well say not fully. So i was waiting for my period after it i still didn't get it so in aug i went to the doctor she put me on bill control to get it so i got it in the end of aug. THen i dind't get it again i got two spots for spet that was it. IF anyone of you on it how long did it take till you got it back and how long to TTC.
I called me doctor she wants me to come in but i don't know the money. She wants me to take a pg test i took on on monday i know it was neg. She wants me to go on these pills and go back on birthcontrol. I don't want to go back in that foot steps again. I want my body to get back into having nothing in my system. In the mean while we are TTC. I don't know what to do. I'm so tired of it i just wish i would get my period or just be preggo. THen i hear that my friends are getting preggo and it hurts me when i hear that i just want to be to.

I have very strong opinions regarding DEPO PROVERA.

Unfortunately it can take a very long time for you to be regulated, coming off of it. I would not "Opt' for birth control at all.

Basically, you may need provera, to bring on AF, which is a synthetic progestin.....it tricks the body, into believing it was secreting high levels of progesterone from ovulating and then when the supply ends, you get AF....because your lining sheds.

Your hormones should be tested, especially, tsh, t3, t4, prolactin, estradoil, fsh, LH and glucose. After those results come back, you may require a certain med to regulate the hormones. If your hormone levels are fine....you probably should then be given, clomid,.....or femara to induce ovulation.

I would be temping, and charting right now,.....and finding myself a doctor who specializes in fertility.

The thing is in aug i got my period. Then in spet i had spotting for 2 day and that was it. Yeah i had alot of blood work done the ones you are saying and everything came out fine. The reason she had me tested cause i was getting discharge from my breasts. Right now i don't have insuracne so i can't really do anything that is the hard part. I just want af back so i can be normal. SOrry. I'm just so mad at myself for getting the depo it was such a bad idea.

What was your prolactin level ? Ask the doctor to give you the results, ....and if you want to share them with me, I can help see what's going on .

Well i called my doctor before she called me back and she was like pushing me off the phone she is like when you come we can talk about it. I'm calling right now for my prolactin levels. Thank you so much for helping me

I just got my cycles regular again for the past few months and I got my last shot in May **2004** I don't think I had anything for 9 or 10 months. And after that it was crazy - from barely spotting to bad period as often as 1-2 weeks apart. Wildly unpredictable. I didn't take any BCPs and just my body regulate itself.

Now I can set my clock to my cycles - 9pm on day 28 (no joke).

I was told it takes a year to be fertile again, maybe 2 sometimes.

I also lost weight while on the shot, which someone once told me may make return to normal take longer...

Make sure the doctor is checking for the normal things that would make you not get your period. If that's normal just sit tight, it'll come...

If you are having discharge out of both breasts, it sounds like you have an endocrine problem and it should be worked up.

ETA: Why don't you have insurance? If this is going to continue to be an issue, will you be able to afford the medical costs of a pregnancy? It is pretty expensive...

Thanks for writing backand helping me out. So you got your AF and how many months 9 to 10. So i'm on my 7th month then going on 8th. Yeah i'm waiting it is hard i'm waiting for it and my doctor was like i will put back on the pills i don't want thaat i want my body to take it corse. I don't have insurance waiting for my dh hopefully i can be added. But if i can't i can go on medicaid and they pay for everything it is a state law but it goes by your salary the take you and then after that they just take the baby. Which i don't work looking for a job now it is hard out there right now.

I don't think medicaid is the answer for your situation. I don't think they give you aid if your DH works. And they certainly DON'T take your baby away.

I am having a lot of trouble reading your responses so I think I may be misunderstanding you...

My husband works off the books so i know they will take me cause i'm not working either. But I'm not going to worry about it cause i know it is not going to happened anytime soon. Thank for helping me
