I was just wondering about the school district - DH and I are considering a move to that area - but know zippo about the school system. I looked up about changing my license, and it seems like a pretty easy switch from VA... but I wanted to know more.

Have you all heard anything? I was thinking Wake County Schools.

I looked into moving there. The schools seemed pretty good, except that there is soooo many people moving and going into the schools, they are having difficulties transitioning. They are building new schools and kids get transferred and a lot of overcrowding from what I read. Check the wake county website and also teachers.net has a nc chatboard for teachers and they talk about it a lot. Good luck, its a nice area. We didn't move because we don't like that weather, and DH has a good job there, but it was nice.

Wake county schools are a good district and switching your license over will be easy
