Thoughts...
Someone was talking about "buying" an english bulldog today. I made her promise she wouldn't buy from a pet store. I told her Id find her a rescue or a good breeder
Found this one. Thoughts?

Re: Thoughts...
Honestly...I thought they looked good until I realized that nothing informative is on the website. They talk about their champion bloodlines, etc. but there are no pics of their dogs winning ribbons...usually a breeder has that info on the first page. Plus, there are a lot of litters available.
I wouldn't just say - forget them, but I would call and talk to them over the phone to see if I got a better feel for what they are doing.
See, this lady shows her dogs winning titles and has their pedigrees posted...very few litters also.KC Bulldogs
BTW, what about this baby?Peas...

All good points! Never thought of that. Her thing is s he doesn't want to travel. I know Buffalo (the site I posted) is going to be to "far" for her.
I HEART the ones you posted from pet finder. I didn't see them cause I was searching for English bulldog. I have no idea what the difference is
They also said prior large dog experience I have to find out if she has that. And she has a daughter who is under 12

Re: Thoughts...
I was just sort of making suggestions. An English Bulldog is short and fat with the smooshed face...American Bulldogs are taller and leaner and look more like "pits".
There was another breeder in Jamaica when I googled English Bulldogs, but she kind of gave off that non-breeder vibe too. The website is kind of strange, but it seems like she loves her dogs and is close.
Bulldogs r us
BTW, I think it's great that you are making the effort to help your friend make a responsible choice.
