Re: Family all inclusive resorts? (Hudson valley)
I've been to both, Villa Roma, many, many years ago and can tell you its fine. In fact, I understand its become pretty nice over the past few years. Its definitely the "Italian Mountains."
Pollace's I went to four years ago, and there really isn't anything good I can say about this place. We wound up there because we went with a large number of people and this place was sort of in the middle. It reminded me of the movie dirty dancing which, although charming in its day, wasn't so charming in the new millennium. The rooms were sorely in need of updating and the food was very so so. That said we had a good time, because we were 5 families and couldn't believe we actually wound up there. I do have to say, that this place appeared to me to attract a large number of "regulars."
Have you thought about Woodloch Pines or Sky Top in the Pocono's. I've been to both and think both were nicer.
