Lump question
Bruno had to go to the vet today because I found a lump with fluid in it on his neck
The vet said he thinks it might just be a tick bite (I didn't see a tick on him but its deer tick season up here so I guess its possible).
He took his temperature which was fine and Bruno sure isn't acting any different (crazy as usual ). The vet also gave an antibiotic to kill any infection there might be. He said to wait a full week to see if the lump has gone but it could possibly take even 3 or 4 weeks to go away.
Did anyone's dog ever have something similar? C'mon, set my mind at ease

Re: Lump question
Yes my dog Rudy had the same thing.. We had no idea what it was and my vet wanted to do a biopsy on it.. I made the decision to wait a week (if it was up to the vet I would have been out 500 bucks)...
It ended up going away within that week and being nothing.
I would say give him the antibiotics and give it a week... He could have banged into something or scratched himself.
Gook Luck
