Help a preggo lady find shoes that don't make her look like an old lady...

Ok, so I'm very pregnant now and have a toddler to chase around. Right now I spend 98% of the time in sneakers since I'm a stay at home mom. I'd like to have a bit dressier pair of shoes for the fall. They must be flat, I'm clumsy to begin with and my balance is all off with the ginormous belly. I'm thinking black is the best color to go with the pants I have. They also need to stay on my feet if I'm running after my daughter. Oh, and I'm now a wide width. Yuck. So, fashion gurus, can you help me or is this a hopeless cause?

So, I looked around shoebuy and came up with the following.

1) Mt. Emey

2) Grasshoppers Jensen Stretch

3) Hush Puppies Arlington

4) Rockport Works Karena

Any other styles you'd suggest? Of the above, any you like best or any you want to just say "NO DON'T DO IT!" about?

Whate about something like these from Lands End. I dont know if you would even need a wide width, but they do have them

I dont know why the pics wont attach, but here is the link to one of them. They have a few different styles.

These are soooo comfy, I wore mine all the time last year.

what about some basic black flats? to be honest I don't think any of the shoes you posted are stylish...just trying to help.

what about some of these? these are all from Zappos.com and listed under Wide and casual shoes...

shoe 1

shoe 2

shoe 3

shoe 4

there are tons of other shoes on Zappos...but I thought some of these might work. patent is really popular for the fall. good luck!

I loved Merrells before my first pregnancy, but since having her I can only wear their lace up shoes -- the rest have all been too narrow. Sad, sad.

Thanks for all the suggestions on zappos, I'll check them out.

The Payless ones are cute, but might not be that comfortable. Thy are usually manmade & can be kind of stiff, but it may vary from shoe to shoe.

I wear a wide width & I have these

as my commuting shoes & they are VERY comfortable. They are very squishy & they stay on your feet & come in WW if you need them.

Zappos-Naturalizer/Creston

ETA- I like #3 that you posted. Hush Puppies are very comfortable & with pants, those will look like a nice basic loafer and not necessarily a "comfort" shoe.

I swear by Cole Haan shoes with the Nike sole for comfort.

I tried on all of these at payless because I thought they were cute. Let me tell you I'm 9 months pregnant and not sure if it's because of that or not but they were so UNCOMFORTABLE.

I don't think it's b/c you're preggo. I tried on the one's w/the buckles and the mary janes. not comfy at all. which is a 1st for me & payless. usually their shoes are comfy Chat Icon

the mary janes are too flat, they have zero padding/cushioning between your foot and the floor.
