Queens City Teachers.. Trips?
I teach first grade. I am looking for unique trips or ones the kids did not go on in k.! I refuse to go to the Hall of Hell oops I mean Science!  Any suggestions?

We do the Queens cnty farm, the Queens zoo ( a lot of people there so brings lots of parents!!!), the paper bag players, pizzeria uno.

I teach 1st in Queens and we go on many trips. Queens College has shows, we go to the farm, Queens Zoo, NY Botanical Gardens, MOMA, Children's Museum of the Native American, Whitney Museum, Aqaurium, Museum of Natural History.

we did the bronx zoo but it was such a waste there just wasnt enough time for the kids to really enjoy it. if youa re going to do it, pick one section and thats it.

We go to the one in the Bronx because admission is free. I bring them in the fall and we walk through the woods. I give them clipboards to observe and record all of the autumn changes. In the spring, they also use clipboards to observe and compare flowers and search for pollinators. They also have a great children's garden, whch is interactive and hands on, for $1 each child.
