we've been (secretly) chatting about TTC sometime next year....
it's hard to figure out the best time for us -- I'm a speech pathologist... and at first I thought I'd want to maybe have a baby toward the end of the school year, take the last few weeks off and then have the whole summer.... but I think that during the end of the year I'll be completely overloaded with IEPs and paperwork, so that might not be the best idea!
are you girls planning around the school year?

We are not planning this year but most definitely next summer we will start TTC.
Then we would have the baby in the Spring around April. I could have my Annual REview meetings done before I go out. We shall see.

I am.. and I am not worrying about the school year bc I have PCOS and am on fertility drugs, so when it happens, I will be happy whenever baby is due!!!

I am totally planning around the school year. I would like to have my 30 days and then maybe come back for a week to clean up my room and have the rest of the summer... It's a nice plan, but it seems some people take a few months to have a baby so i think i will start trying in June. If it happens it happens

Im not. I dont care when i get PG. I just told DH that i want a year off OR at least not go back in the middle of a yr. So, if im due in august lets say, then im not returning. If im due in Nov/Dec, i will work til then and return the following Sept

That is my plan too! We will see what happens.
That was my plan too except we started trying in May because we were worried it might take awhile. Needless to say I am due in January!

our plan is to start end of spring to summer of next year, but I am going off the pill in Feb. so if it happens earlier then it happens. I would like to have tenure first which is in Jan 09 so next summer would be perfect.
