Anyone Cross Stitch
I have been doing counted cross stitch now for just under 25 years. I have made many wedding samplers, baby announcements, bibs, bookmarks. After checking around this board...seems like I am the only one here who does this.

Right now I am working on a Christmas advent calendar. I also have a wedding scene still in progress from about 4 years ago  .

I used to cross stich and I loved it but I changed hobbies a few years back and havent done it since.

I've done it in the past, and have one in progress, but like Lisa, I have put more focus on other hobbies of late. I found too, that as I got older and my eyesight got worse, it was harder to do. I need to use a magifier now for lighter colors in addition to my glasses so it makes it more tedious.

I do! I have an ongoing project in the works for my younger son, a larger piece. But I've stopped to work on a smaller Halloween project. I love it. I did my first cross stitch (with the pic drawn on the fabric  ) when my 1st nephew was born and it took me 12 years to finish it (it sat in a drawer for 11 1/2 years) - theres nothing a 13 yr old likes better than a Care Bears birth announcement cross stitch LOL. But after i finally picked that one up and finished it just to do it, I've been hooked on doing the counted cross stitches. The one I'm doing for my son right now is kind of intricate so it's slow moving.

I've been more into scrapping/cardmakiing the past few years, but last year I cross-stitched some bibs for my sister's baby shower gift.
I used to do it alot more, but I'm better with stamped, although the selection is not as good as counted. SOmetimes all the lines mess me up!

I do! I haven't in awhile but I just started a new one for my nephew-to-be. I don't have much time with a 5 1/2 month old but sometimes my DH works late so I will cross stitch at night to unwind. I am NEVER going to finish by the time the baby is born though (9/28)
